Panasonic also lists the DMW‑BLF19 as usable; it has a lower capacity, which is why Panasonic recommends the DMW‑BLK22 (supplied).

Charging in the camera

Yes – in the camera body via USB‑C with the supplied power adapter when the camera is switched off; also from a USB device such as a PC, but slower; when the camera is switched on, only with USB PD devices (e.g. accessories of the battery charger DMW‑BTC15) and more slowly; a battery in the battery grip DMW‑BGGH5 is not charged

Yes – via USB‑C with the battery inserted, e.g. from the supplied power adapter or a PC; without USB PD, only power is supplied and the battery is not charged

Measurement conditions according to Panasonic: CIPA standard, UHS-II SDXC card; with lens H-ES12060 approx. 400, with H-FS12060 approx. 410 shots – the lower value is used, the same for monitor and viewfinder; with Power Save LVF Shooting (sleep mode after 1 s) approx. 1,200 shots; video: actual recording time when repeatedly switching on/off and starting/stopping recording.

Charging and power via USB: information from Panasonic on the camera – we have not tested whether it also charges replacement batteries in the camera.
