Charging in the camera: Yes – via the Micro‑USB port with the supplied power adapter and Micro‑USB cable when the camera is switched off
Power via USB: No – recording and playback are not possible with the supplied power adapter; for this, there is the power adapter AC‑PW20 (available separately)
Vertical grip: Vertical grip available separately; with the grip attached, the battery cannot be charged in the camera
Memory cards: One slot: Memory Stick PRO Duo or SD (SD/SDHC/SDXC, UHS‑I)
Weight: approx. 489 g with battery and Memory Stick PRO Duo (body only approx. 446 g)

Measurement conditions according to Sony: CIPA standard, 25 °C, lens FE 28-70 mm F3.5-5.6 OSS, single-shot AF, one shot every 30 seconds, switched off and on again after every ten shots.

Charging and power via USB: information from Sony on the camera – we have not tested whether it also charges replacement batteries in the camera.
