Information from Sony on battery, charging and memory cards – as of 01/10/2026.
Measurement conditions according to Sony: CIPA standard, 25 °C, fully charged battery, Sony SDXC card (U3), lens FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS; stills: one shot every 30 seconds, switched off and on again after every 10 shots; video: actual recording in XAVC S HD (with continuous recording approx. 190 min using the monitor, approx. 180 min using the viewfinder).
Charging and power via USB: information from Sony on the camera – we have not tested whether it also charges replacement batteries in the camera.

A guide value, not a guarantee: based on approx. 530 shots using the viewfinder per battery charge (CIPA figure from Sony for the Alpha 7R III, a standardised comparison test) or approx. 100 minutes of video (CIPA, actual recording in XAVC S HD, according to Sony). According to Sony, the actual runtime depends on the conditions of use; we have not measured these figures with Baxxtar batteries.
