Charging in the camera

Yes – in the camera body via USB‑C: with the USB-AC adapter F‑7AC (available separately) with the camera switched on or off (switched off approx. 2 h 30 min, longer when switched on); from a computer, with the USB-AC adapter F‑5AC or with other USB PD devices only with the camera switched off; no charger is supplied

Power via USB

Yes – via USB‑C with the USB-AC adapter F‑7AC or with USB PD devices of at least 27 W (9 V/3 A, 15 V/2 A or 15 V/3 A), such as a power bank; a battery must be inserted and should be charged, and with the F‑7AC it charges at the same time; from a computer if ‘USB Power Supply’ is set to ‘Yes’

Measurement conditions according to OM System: CIPA standard with KIOXIA KSDXU-A064G memory card and supplied battery; one figure, not split by monitor and viewfinder; with Quick Sleep mode approx. 1,040 shots; video: approx. 120 min as a CIPA figure according to the data sheet and the German product page (the English Q&A gives JEITA for the same figure), without zooming or other operations approx. 190 min.

Charging and power via USB: information from OM System on the camera – we have not tested whether it also charges replacement batteries in the camera.
