Charging in the camera

Yes – via the USB‑C port with the camera switched off; for this, Fujifilm describes charging from a computer (directly, not via a USB hub), and for the wall socket the separately available charger BC‑W126S; the battery does not charge while the camera is switched on

Power via USB

Yes – depending on the ‘USB POWER SUPPLY/COMM SETTING’ (Auto or power supply on), the switched-on camera draws power from the connected device, so the battery is drained less; it is not charged in this case, and its charge level drops slowly

Measurement conditions according to Fujifilm: CIPA standard, measured with the supplied battery and an SD card, XF35mmF1.4 R lens, without external flash, P mode, performance setting ‘Normal’; according to Fujifilm, with ‘Eco’ approx. 390 (monitor) or 360 (viewfinder), with ‘Boost’ (viewfinder at 100 fps) approx. 300 or 270 shots.
