According to Fujifilm, the NP‑W126 and NP‑W126S fit the same cameras; the NP‑W126S is the successor to the NP‑W126, which is no longer sold, with the same capacity and the same number of shots; the NP‑W126 can also be charged via USB

Charging in the camera

Yes – via the USB‑C port with the camera switched off, from a computer or a USB power adapter (according to Fujifilm, USB‑IF-certified, 7.5 W or more recommended; none supplied); the battery does not charge while the camera is switched on

Power via USB

Yes – if USB power supply is switched on in the connection settings, the running camera draws power via USB; the battery is drained less as a result, it is not charged in this case, and its charge level drops slowly

Measurement conditions according to Fujifilm: CIPA standard, measured with the supplied NP-W126S battery and an SD card, XF35mmF1.4 R lens, without external flash, P mode, performance setting ‘Normal’; with ‘Boost’, according to Fujifilm, approx. 260 (monitor) or 235 (viewfinder) shots.

Charging and power via USB: information from Fujifilm on the camera – we have not tested whether it also charges replacement batteries in the camera.
