Charging in the camera
No – Canon does not mention charging via USB: according to Canon, the USB port (Hi‑Speed USB) is used to connect to a computer and printer as well as the Wireless File Transmitter WFT‑E7 and the GPS receiver GP‑E2; the battery is charged in the LC‑E6 or LC‑E6E charger (supplied)

Battery grip BG‑E11 as an accessory (for two LP‑E6/LP‑E6N batteries or AA/LR6 cells; with two LP‑E6, about twice as many shots according to Canon)
