Where is my battery code?

On the battery’s label. On the camera’s original battery, the type is usually printed large as the name, for example ‘LP-E6NH’ or ‘NP-FZ100’ – on Baxxtar batteries it follows ‘For’.

No battery to hand? Then the camera’s instruction manual will help: the type is given in the chapter on the power supply or in the specifications.

With the code, you’ll find the right series – type it into the search (magnifying glass at the top) or select it in the battery finder under ‘Know your battery type?’.
